How to prevent Ultrabay battery discharge completely?

Hello all!

Just a question. Has there been a way devised of the power source switching from the Ultrabay battery to the main battery before the former is completely flat? If it keeps happening the Ultrabay one is going to lose its original capacity fairly quickly.

Any ideas guys?
