I upgraded the original memory on my T61P and I'mnot quite sure how to read the specs on the originals, which I want to sell for what they are.
Can someone tell me how this translates, i.e. CL# and speed in common terms?
Samsung, M470T2864QZ3-CE6
1GB 2Rx16 PC2-5300S-555-12-A3
(two sticks, 2gb total)
I think that makes it DDR2 667MHz PC5300 ?? CL??
What was the original memory spec? T61p

The "-555" is the key:
First 5 is CAS latency (i.e., CL5); the second 5 is tRCD (RAS-to-CAS delay; also expressed in cycles); the third 5 is tRP (RAS precharge).
edit: Here's the Wiki page on DDR2 memory: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DDR2_SDRAM
