T61p - Weird Battery issue...

One of the machines at the company I work for is having a weird issue. It'll run fine on battery and drop from 100% to the mid 80 or 70% range and then go to 4% and then turn off. I've swapped a battery from another machine that has a natural discharge curve and again the same thing happens. I've updated to the latest BIOS on the machine and he is still having the issue. Am I just seeing two batteries failing here? or is there something else that could be causing this on the machine?

My guess is that you are seeing (2) batteries fail.
