I want to use one common disk image (Acronis/Windows XP SP3) across multiple T60/1/p laptops. Is this possible? I do this currently across multiple T41/2/p-series FRUs without any problems. If anyone has any experience with this, I would like hear from you. TIA.

I've not tried it, but I believe you'll need the following images:
T60 integrated graphics
T60/p ATI graphics
T61 integrated graphics
T61/p nVidia graphics
I know the T41/2/p have the same chipset, so that helps with those.

I use the 4 images in the previous response, plus different ones for wide T60 machines. If you deploy the same image on multiple machines, you need to use sysprep or something similar to make security IDs unique.

See

Also you can have one image and then use norton ghost deployanywhere with the additional drivers, which does the sysprep step plus insert the missing drivers into your common image.
