T60 graphics card drivers cause BSOD

I NEED HELLLPP PLEASE!!!!!
So i've had my T60 for almost 3 years now and everything has been good the whole time. it would overheat occasionally and crash but i cleaned out the fan a few times and all was good again. Not long ago, i was streaming some video and suddenly i got the Blue Screen of Death. I tried to restart and everytime windows started loading, i would get the error "Parity Check Error" and it would just freeze and restart. Also the boot up screen (with the thinkipad logo etc. is pixelated and has random white spots and just looks generally messed up).
I couldnt figure out what to do so i backed up everything and reinstalled windows (i'm running win7 btw). Everything worked fine and windows installed and was working. Once I installed the drivers though, I got the BSOD again. (Still the Parity Check Error).
After restoring back to before i installed the drivers, it was fixed and i can use the computer normally now. I tried installing older verisons of the drivers etc and no matter which version I install I get the same crash. -I have the ATI Radeon X1400 graphics card.
Now my only problem is that I can't do any kind of hardcore graphics without the drivers. no connecting to external display, no windows aero nothing. Does anyone have any recommendations on what I can do?
THANKKKSSSS!!!!!!
