For those looking to upgrade their T60s (me being one of them):
Just noticed that Newegg is selling said drive for $120, free shipping. The Hitachi 500GB 7200rpm is now in stock and runs for $110 (+ shipping).

And now the Hitachi 500GB 7200rpm is marked down to $90, shipping is free.
Pretty amazing, considering the prices of 6GB laptop hard disks only a few years ago...
