I'm thinking about buying 1 year old (no warranty) Lenovo T61 (7664-ryu) in 14 hours. I had couple years ago T40 and T42 and both ones motherboards got broken, so I would like to make sure that T6*-series dont I have this kind of problems.

what graphics chip is in that? do a search for Nvidia Quadro NVS 140M if that's what it has...

I bought a new T61 with that chip about a year ago but don't really use it very much. I bought it for the 4:3 screen and didn't know about the Nvidia problem at the time. even though my GPU runs cool (~50 deg C on idle), and i never had any issue with it, i probably wouldn't buy it again
unless i got a good deal on it.

If you're buying a T61/p with nVidia GPU, make sure that:
a) It has warranty remaining or
b) That you're getting it for the price of an Acer netbook with a few accessories...
My $0.02 only...

Should I buy T60P with ati instead? Or is there anything else similar?

My preference would be a T60 (not T60p) with ATI X1400 and 15" SXGA+ Flexview screen (e.g., the 2007QPG in my sig). These tend to be cheaper than their T60p siblings, and don't run as hot.
If you don't run anything GPU-intensive, a model with an Intel GPU (whether T60 or T61) may be preferred, since they will run even cooler, have a longer battery life, and the chances of GPU-related failures are next to 0. The downside is that they are hard (although possible) to come by with a high-resolution LCD.

Over 14" is too big for my use and I want atleast WSXGA resolution. I can't find anything except t61 and t60p models with that screen in Finland. So I think I have to put 2000€ to buy new T400 or manage with T60P

I have a 14" T60P and it's a great machine. I can recommend this configuration -

Original description: T7600(2.33GHz), 1GB RAM, 100GB 7200rpm HD, 14.1in 1400x1050 LCD, 256MB ATI FireGL V5250, CDRW/DVDRW, Intel 802.11abg wireless, Bluetooth/Modem, 1Gb Ethernet, UltraNav, Secure chip, Fingerprint reader, 9c Li-Ion batt, WinXP Pro

Will it really run 6 hours with new 9cell battery?

No, I'd be happy with 3.5 hours with the Ati FireGL V5250.
