Opinions on a T61

I think I have found a pretty sweet deal on a T61 7664-17U
T7300(2GHz), 2GB RAM, 160GB 5400rpm HD, 14.1in 1440x900 LCD, 128MB nVIDIA Quadro NVS 140M, CDRW/DVDRW, Intel 802.11agn, Bluetooth, Modem, 1Gb Ethernet, UltraNav, Secure chip, Fingerprint reader, Intel Turbo Memory, 6c Li-Ion, WinVista Ultimate
I have read here that some people are having problems with the GPU. The notebook is supposed to still be under warranty with Lenovo. I figure on verifying that before I pick it up. All that aside, I hope I don’t have to use it. What other things should I keep an eye out for when checking it out?
Thanks

Well, first and foremost, that the specs are as advertised, and that all parts that should be there are there, and function properly.
Check the exterior to make sure there are no physical damages, blemishes or anything that the seller hasn't reported.
Use the serial number to verify warranty status with Lenovo, and also call them up to verify that the laptop isn't registered with them as stolen

T61 is a great machine as far as I am concerned. Although I have not used widescreen model myself (see my signature) some users have complained that LCD is no that good especially in the terms of viewing angles. But as you probably know almost all LCD on todays laptops are bad.
I myself have experienced the problems with Intel Turbo Memory on my machine with Vista Business 64-bit edition; I am not sure whether there are similar problems on other versions of Windows but there is a thread about this on Lenovo forums. The problem with my system was that I used to got blue screen a couple of times a day and this drove me nuts. The solution was quite simple - I removed the Intel Turbo memory chip from my machine and everything works like charm to this very day. No more blue screens and OS starts up and shuts down considerably faster than before. So if you experience similar problems you may try the same route as I did. To be frank, it seems that other users seem to profit from the chip.
Other than that I can only recommend this machine to everybody.

You might want to call in if still on warranty. I run Vista 32 and W764 both with Turbo Memory and no problems. Never seen a blue screen.

Don't want to steal the thread.
It may be that there were problems a year ago for Vista 64-bit drivers for T61. I do not know. I have not tried ro run Turbo Memory on Windows 7 as I do not see the point of doing it. You say that you have no troubles with it. That's fine. But are there any real advantage you can report of using this feature (of course, except the fact that it sounds really impressive)?
