Audio device recognition and drivers on T60

Hello all,

I've re installed windows XP on my lenovo t60 and have some problems with my soundcard. I'm not really an expert on this all so forgive me if i can't give you all the required information to solve this problem at once. I've tried my best and worked around other topics, but without succes.

After re-installing XP i downloaded all the drivers from lenovo at: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... 62928.html
However my Sound isn't working. In my device manager it says that there are two unrecognized devices namely:
-audio device on high defenition audio bus
-modem device on high defenition audio bus.

I've tried many drivers, but i still can't find the ones fit for these two devices (which are causing the fact that i have no sound anymore). The site of lenovo suggested that i might have installed drivers in the wrong order, but i don't know how to delete only "the wrong ones".

Can anyone suggest me a possible solution? Thank you in advance.

I have experienced this problem under XP - For me it was cured by installing the missing Windows XP Update Module Q888111 - Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) High Definition Audio class driver.

hi all,

the problem was fixed.
After downloading and installing the audio driver from the lenovo website. I had to go to the directory of this driver and let some program subinstall.
