Different browser action between T60P & T42 *small pic*

I'm running XP Pro SP3 and the latest Firefox on both my T42 and my "new" T60P. The T42 will not zoom Google maps but the T60P will.

It this likely a hardware difference or a browser setting I can't imagine?

Thanks

How exactly are you trying to zoom; using the slider bar on the map page or right-clicking and choosing Zoom in or double-clicking on the map?

On the T42? All of the above. Neither use of the slider works. Double click gets nothing. The right click menu shows no zoom.

Thanks

Hmm.... disabling Javascript prevents the right-click context menu from appearing:

but it also stops maps.google.com from even loading a map (just a Google search box appears). Turning off Java does not seem to affect the functionality of the page. Same with disabling Flash. I guess the only thing that I can suggest is to look through the Plugins list (Tools/Addons/Plugins) on both systems and see if there's anything different. It shouldn't be a hardware issue, as long as your T42's Trackpoint/mouse buttons are otherwise working correctly.
