video driver on t61?

I just installed xp in the lenovo t61 - 4gigs ram
the best i can do with video is 1280 by 800
Intel Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family
Is this the best this lenovo can do?

Resolution is determined by the screen. You cannot set the resolution above the screen's resolution. I'm guessing you've got a WXGA(1280x800) screen. What's your machine type? If you want a higher resolution you'd have to swap the screen, which is doable, but will void your warranty if you care.

What's the rest of the number? Type 6465-XXX ??
Your screen is more than likely a WXGA screen which is why the higest you can go is 1280 x 800.
You can however go to intel.com and get drivers for the card but if it's your screen that's the issue then it wont make a single bit of difference. You would need a WXGA+ LCD or a WSXGA+ or WUXGA (1920 x 1200) if you have the 15.4" Thinkpads.
