Wireless Card Keeps Shutting Down

#1 Post by sweat » Wed Feb 10, 2010 8:49 am

I'm still having a recurring problem of my wireless card shutting down while using battery power. I get connections tray error during shut down when this happens and then I'm forced to hold the power button down to get the computer to completely shut off. I've tried adjusting the power settings, but the problem keeps happening.

Any ideas?

Is the wireless card power management setting staying on "On" or "max performance" or is it re-setting itself?

Everytime I've looked, it has been set to max performance. I have not looked at the setting when the wireless card shuts off, however.
