Hi is there a way to connect a T61 to a tv? I have an R61i with s Video and Intel X3100 graphics:( only reason I got a T61 is to replace the R61i because the T61 has better specs, i didnt know it didnt came with no S Video connection or SD card reader. So much for being better.

That of course is the key. I've had good results connecting my T61 to a plasma TV via VGA. If you have a dock with DVI you can convert DVI to HDMI quite easily, most new TVs have HDMI connectivity. As a caveat I believe some of the non-widescreen and larger screened T6* series are unable to output using the DVI dock connection.

All T6x output DVI.

Some of the R and Z series don't.

I've gotten the best results by trying to match the laptop native LCD resolution with the TV native resolution, in most cases you can get close.
For my 1366 x 768 panel, an R61e running a WXGA LCD (1280 x 800) is a close match and it works well.
For my 1080p (1920 x 1080) panel, a Z61p with a WUXGA LCD (1920 x 1200) is another close match. This one looks fabulous.
I use the DVI out connector from each laptop.
