Pixel becomes bigger and text can’t be identified on T61.
This problem first occurs when I do some task on external monitor and play a movie on T61’s screen. The pixels on T61 suddenly become vague and bigger. The default and optimized resolution are 1440* 900, but I have to reduce the resolution to 800*600 or 1024*768 in order to see what’s going on clearly.
In regard to identify this issue is a system or hardware problem, I had tried several way, disconnecting external monitor; Updating the video driver to the newest one; replacing my operating system from Vista to Window 7. I got the same result.
The worst situation is sometime the pixels turn back; anything looks alright either under Vista or Windows 7, but most time the pixels are still out of whack.
My T61 will be out of warranty after 2 month. Does anyone know what I should do? I worry about even though I send it to warranty service but this problem is going to happen again since it doesn’t seem like a hardware problem.
