According to thinkwiki all 15" sxga+ screens in t60 are IPS. Is that true, or not? I'm asking because I want buy one but only with IPS screen.

Hi,
Yes, indeed it is a Flexview. All SXGA+ and UXGA 15" T60/p are. I've heard that some find the SXGA+ dimmer than the UXGA, though. I've never seen the SXGA+ (from LG-Philips), so I cannot comment.

The T60 are in a very nice price range now. The SXGA+ 15 inch model - which are all IPS - are the way to go if you care about having a good display. It has the vertical display height of the W700! If you prefer, you may go with an intel gpu model as it runs very (!) cool and you can still watch HD movies except blueray ones. Actually I found the intel gpu (950 gma) to be better for watching movies than the x1300 gpu (with the same notebook) I had before! Windows 7 also runs nice on it!
