Hello
I hope I gan get some advice here.
I would like to upgrade my T60 to wireless N standard.
What netcard to look for and do I need my old NO1802 CD?

You need a mod-bios. Make a search here or on mydigitallife.com forums (modbios by Yen). The latter option will give you SLIC 2.1 too. Very useful

The "No1802" program will not work on a T60, but that does not matter anyway because there exist "N" cards which work perfectly with the standard BIOS of the T60.
Use Lenovo
FRU #42T0825 (ThinkPad 11a/b/g/n Wireless LAN Mini-PCI Express Adapter). Here is
one.
If you install a modified BIOS, then you may use any "N" mini-PCIe card, but the radio on/off switch may not control the card and you will not be able to use Access Connections to control the card.

Please read the Private Message (PM) that I sent you (unless you have reliable information that those BIOSs work as you expect them to work -- or that they work at all!).

I can confirm that the Yen-modded bioses work. I have successfully flashed an X61 and a T60-non-widescreen, also I have one for the T4x that works. Of course, only flash after you READ REPORTS that relate to your particular model.
