T60P 1600x1200 were available in versions with two different video-cards: ATI Fire GL v.5200 and v.5250.

Are there any specific and remarkeable differences between these dedicated video-cards?

They both have basically the same performance. See this chart -

Apparently, during a mid-model refresh, the V5250 GPU, 15.4" widescreen and some Core 2 Duo options became available. Here's some info --> http://www.funponsel.com/blog/computers ... ptops.html

It was said that v5200 is based on x1600, while v5250 is based on x1700 according to: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=84095
