LCD On When Docked

1. If I put my T60 into the Advanced Mini Dock (turned off) boot up to external display is the LCD on the laptop on?

2. If I suspend the machine by closing the lid and then put in AMD does the LCD screen go on?

The LCD should not go on unless the lid is open.
