System Update stopped working..

I am running Vista Vusiness in my T60.
Since I accidentally deleted a few fines in Windows folder, I can't use System Upadte.
I downloaded the lastest file from Lenovo site and re-installed it,
but it did not correct the problem. The error message I am getting is:
What do I do now? 
Edit: I also restored Windows with the MS restore program, but it did not make any difference.
