Extended warranty for t61p

There has been some discussion about Lenovo ThinkPlus - Extended service agreement Mfg Part #: 41C9180 in the forums.

Any recent experiences (past 6 months) using this item to extend warranty to 5 years on a t61p or other t6** series laptops?

I upgraded my T61p from a 3 year depot to 5 year depot last year. I believe the part number for the warranty upgrade you are looking for is 45K6025. It's available from Provantage.com for about $140. Given the issues with the nVidia video chipset and the lenovo T61p motherboard, I would definitely get the upgrade.
