Hi,
I am trying to find a good expresscard for my T61.
I seem to be able to find a few ExpressCard/34 but as I understood the T61 has an ExpressCrad/54 housing. Or am I mistaken?
Maybe I can use either?
Example of what I can find:
Kensington 7-in-1 Media Reader for ExpressCard slot - Card reader - 7 in 1 ( Memory Stick, MS PRO, MMC, SD, xD ) - ExpressCard. This is on amazon.co.uk.
My primary goal is to use the ExpressCard to house a large SD(HC) card that fits completely into the T61 (so no protrusions) and I can then backup some of my work to it while I am on the go and away from your usual backup media at home.
Any help much appreciated.
what expresscard would you recommend
Re: what expresscard would you recommend
This card fits "flush" with the case of the T60 and I see no problems with the 34mm installation. I believe these cards aren't produced any longer but deals seem to be out there for them.

Re: what expresscard would you recommend
In T61s you can use either 54 or 34 pin express cards (upper or lower position in housing slot), but not both at the same timesysbox27 wrote:Hi,

I think ANY card will work perfectly, but of course some people have their preferences, just keep away from no-name cards
