Will a T2310 work in a T60?

I'm trying to put together some T60 headless systems to use as energy efficient HTPCs. I found some a few T2310 CPUs that are well priced. Anyone tried these before? Any guesses as to whether they will work?

Google search these cpu's, all the information is there in wikipedia. The T2310 is Socket P, which won't work. And it uses 1W more than the Core Duo's.
Why are you not just using one of the standard Core Duo or Core 2 Duo processors that the T60 came/works with? They're as energy efficient as it's going to get given the Socket M choices. I'd recommend using no less than a T2500 Core Duo 2ghz. That's what I've got now, and on some 1080p movies, load goes up to 85-90%.

Thanks for the info. After I posted that, I learned of the Socket P through Wikipedia. Having never owned a T61 machine, I had thought that T60 and T61 were CPU compatible...
It would make sense that a T2310 would have a lot in common T2300. More so than between a T2300 and a T2400-- but now I know that's wrong.
