Problem with Thinkvantage System Update

#1 Post by ajb » Mon Apr 12, 2010 3:21 pm

I just tried running TVSU on my T61p (Vista 32-bit) and received the following error message...

Runtime Error!
Program C:\Program Files\Lenovo\System Update\tvsu.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

This is a brand new problem for me...one I have not seen before. Any ideas on what is going on? And even more importantly, how it can be fixed?

Thanks!

AJ

Check you have the current version (3.14) and that your DotNetFramework is up-to-date (minimum V2/SP1).

I don't know how to check for the current version, nor the status of the DotNetFramework. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

This is what you should have on Control Panel:

If you don't have them do an online search to download them directly from
almighty Microsoft. Hope that helps.
