turbo Memory options ( win7 ulti)

Does READYBOOST and TURBO MEMORY options that I am seeing in T6x series work ? Love to hear from anyone

Both work. Helps with applications. I use Turbo Memory and ReadyBoost. For Readyboost have tried with an 8GB USB flash drive and a Class 10 SD Card. I found the drive to actually work better but for the SD use a USB reader sort of daisy chained so that might be an issue. Appls repeatedly used, ie Office Excel, are faster. This is in addition to 4GB of dual channel RAM and using a 64bit OS.

Thanks .. great !@!
I did an upgrade to the HD = SSD and wasnt sure if the TM and TB still worked
as my APPS and bootup = FAST via win7 x64

You don't need Readyboost with SSD. If Windows7 detects SSD correctly, it will tell you Readyboost is not needed.

For those who are not a lucky winners and do not have SSD in their thinkpads (yet):

ReadyBoost really works in Win7. I was really dissapointed with this utility in Vista. But in Win7 I noted a remarkable improvement. The application are being loaded notably faster (my experience with 4GB SD card).
