Every time I turn my computer off or it goes to sleep, the HD that is in the Ultra bay drops off. If I pop it out and stick it back in, it re appears in the list of drives. Is there away to make apppear all the time? I am trying to make a dual boot machine with linux on the ultrabay drive but for some reason no matter what i do, the computer dosent see the iso linux mint file in the CD if I have that in or the HD if I have that in the ultra bay. What am I doing wrong?

Also... I am going to set up a recovery partition. I have paragon and acronis and I guess I could do the same thing with the lenovo recovery program, but are either of those better than the other. I have used paragon on another computer... and I have used acronis on this computer but which should I be using

Is the ultrabay drive dropping out even when you booted from it? Or only when you booted from the drive in the main bay?

I could be wrong, but I'd guess that if you solved the 2102 error, you'd solve the other problem.

There's threads on solving the 2102 error, maybe you even started one? :)

I just avoid devices that don't work well in an ultrabay; I instead use them elsewhere, perhaps even in a different model's ultrabay, and maybe don't buy another of that item.

What model is the HD in the ultrabay? (I know from own experience that Seagate 7200.3 has there some problems...)
