Are T61 and R61 WSXGA+ displays the same?

Hi,

The same as a topic From my market I could buy R61 WSXGA+ with NVidia or T61 WSXGA+ with Intel.
I wouldn't like anything besides IBM/Lenovo and my budget is very tight, so this is my only option.

I've heard that T61/p and R61/p with NVidia have some bug in the graphic card, so this would point out to T61 with Intel

I would really like a great display and supposedly R61 with his 1680x1050 15,4" are really good (contrast etc.), but does T61 have the same matrix?

I know that Intel x3100 isn't for gaming, but is it good for 2D? (flash, aero, divx, HD contents)?

These are the WSXGA+ screens as per HMM.
They have one in common (42T0423), which means they can use the same in both.

So I've made my choice. T61 with Intel X3100 and WSXGA+ display and I must say WOW. Very nice... Maybe colours aren't the best (too much blue), but contrast and brightness are very good. Way better than 14,1" SXGA+ on T60. Viewing angles ech... well it's a laptop.

X3100 can do CS 1.6 and Unreal Tournament in 1680x1050 (native) with almost no frames drop. All my old games runs very good.

Cool and quiet. My next laptop will definitely have Intel 4500. I'll give it a rest with ATIs. Too hot...

One thing that surprised me is build quality. Way better than my old T60. I was worry because of ibm logo
