Not new to TP but new to T-60. When sellers list new and used keyboards and CD\DVD drives for T-60, T-60p they list model and Fru numbers. When I look over the photos the items look just like those in my T-60. Are these items compatible across all T-60s? I realize the language differences between keyboard keys.

I want to replace my CDRW\DVD can I assume any T-60 slim drive will slide into and connect my T-60 drive bay?

Stick with the FRU numbers for optical drives and keyboards and you'll be OK.

"eyestrain" cleared up the Ultrabay compatibility issue by providing me with this excellent link. I tried to get the info from the Lenovo site but couldn't find it. Eyestrain's link to a post at a Linux site clears it up, providing a "history" of IBM Ultrabay.
