HOW HARD is it to replace Nois'ey FAN on T60p -2007 model

hi everyone;
I am new here, but been reading stuff here as guest for a while; looking for the solution(s) for above
Anyone can tell me in details of what 'to-do' - steps and things to watch for!
am a not that handy with Laptops and or tools <lol>

Download this illustrated guide, the HMM:

You need to take off the palm rest, keyboard, keyboard bezel, and then a few screws to remove the fan.
All fully described in the HMM.
All you need is a good quality small Phillips #1 screwdriver.

You people frighten me with the amount of fan threads on the T60? Do they really really fail that often?
Is it a good idea to get a spare one while they are available?

Thanks everyone;
thinking of doing this DARING endevour soon as I get enough mental strength ....although am very mechanical - not having any experiance with laptops - and one BIG Nosey Fan ......no options left

Mental strength? LOL. It shouldn't take you more than ten minutes tops to replace a fan.
