T43 keyboard into T60?

My mother's Z61t needs a new keyboard (don't ask), and I've got access to an old decrepit T43 with a working keyboard. Would it work to swap the T43 board into the T60? (I know that the T60's board will swap into the Z61t).
The reason being, of course, so I don't have to buy a new keyboard--she doesn't like the idea of not having a windows key...whereas I don't mind at all, given that I primarily use Linux anyways
Thanks for your help!

No, it won't work because they are designed differently.

It won't work.
The layout is the same but that's pretty much all that's identical in these keyboards.
Screw holes won't match and the connector is different (it's bigger in T4x).

Use an external KB.

If a T400 widescreen keyboard would fit into your Z61t I may have one for you.
Is there anyone who could let us know. If it does I may have one for you

Thanks for the info, all. Pity they swapped connectors from the T4x to the T60. Oh well.
emeraldgirl08--I'm pretty sure that the T400 KB will go into the Z61t, since I know a popular swap on the T400 is to install a T60/61 keyboard...which is the same board as a Z61t board. At the risk of turning this into a sale thread, what would you want for your T400 board?
