I created my ONE set of Recovery Disks and it turned out that one of the CDs was damaged =(.

I also found out that I am only able to create the set once. Does anyone know if there any alternatives (preferably NOT costing $45).

Post an AD in the Marketplace forum requesting that one CD. Maybe someone will mail it to you for postage plus the cost of the disc.
