Please Help me!!
I have a T61 (15.4 inch) recently the laptop has not been charging, i read around some forums and thought it must be the battery, bought a new battery, but the AC charger is not charging the laptop
i have used 3 different (working) chargers, none seem to make the laptop charge
Also if I remove the battery, and plug the charger in, it still doesnt charge or even come on....
Please help me!!!

Where did you get the battery and is it an original Lenovo part? The aftermarket batteries have been known to be unreliable.

I'm having this same issue with my T60. The system is working fine whether it is running on battery or AC (both genuine Lenovo), but the system will not recharge the battery at all. Power Manager reports that the battery is in good condition and in 'charging' state. However, it is reporting that it is drawing 0.00A of current.
Also, once you shut the system down the battery and AC adaptor indicator lights on the screen frame & lid remain lit even if you remove the charger. Further, the battery will continue to run down while the system is off. The only way to get everything completely off (no lights and no charge loss) is to disconnect the battery once the system has completely shutdown.
I know both the charger and battery are good because I have used both on another T60 without issue. On that system, the battery charges just fine.
Does anyone have any insights on this?

It might be a power transistor (mosfet) or a fuse. I've seen both things cause this problem
