Warranty purchase and coupon offer timing on a T61p

The extended warranty is ending on my T61p. I contacted Lenovo and bought a 1 year post warranty extension for $149.00. The expiration of my warranty was announced repeatedly by the ThinkVantage Toolbox application. Today, a week after shelling out the $149.00, the ThinkVantage Toobox hands me a message with a coupon code for a 20% discount. Really keen marketing automation. To say that I am displeased is an understatement.

I sent an email to complain. The email that I sent was directed to the sales agent who emailed me order confirmation quoted above. It bounced back with a no such user. Grrr.
