t60 battery won't charge

Okay i just purchased t60 battery but when i connect it to my laptop it will not charge becuase it is not Genuine Lenovo battery. I understand that lenovo can't be responsible for any damage that might come from this battery but i want to figure out how i can turn that off so this battery can get charged.

THere should be an option or something. If anyone knows how i can fix this problem please let me know.

It will charge a non-Lenovo battery unless the battery is defective or the charging circuit is burned out. If the machine will charge a "real" battery, your battery is bad.
