Switch Processors?

#1 Post by CeeDee » Thu Aug 12, 2010 9:11 am

Could anyone tell me if it would be worth putting a Core 2 Duo 7200 2.0ghz in a T60p that currently has a Core Duo T2600 2.16ghz in it. If there is a benefit, would it even be noticable?

Only if you're running your CPU at or near full capacity, will you notice a difference in performance. Even then it will be very small. If you're looking for a performance bump, a SSD is probably a better path to it.
