T60p QXGA mod: how to fold the cable to fit the thinklight?

#1 Post by kamaleon » Sun Aug 15, 2010 4:53 pm

That's it folks! Just got me a nice IAQX10S panel! It's been flashed and working, now I just can't get around to figure out how to make the cable fit it so I can put it all back on the case.

Could anyone explain how to fold it? Ideally with a picture? Thanks!

Sorry don't have a picture but start folding up right at the bottom of the connector where the cloth part starts. The key is make the cable where the Thinklight cable attaches to be higher. Adjust the amount of fold by checking the Bluetooth and the inverter connectors clear the bottom of the panel by about 0.25". Tape the fold in the cable to the panel.
