I found this on my local craigslist. I managed to get him down to 150 for both.

I have 2 IBM Lenovo T60 model computers for sale. Asking 200 for the pair of them. One has windows xp loaded and is ready to rock. The other one stopped working a while back. The one with windows loaded is the widescreen model. They both have 40gb hdd in them. They are Core Duo 2.0ghz with 1 GB of RAM. Let me know if you have any questions.

the type number for the working one is:6369-38U
the type number for the non-functioning one (no power, he thinks its a power supply issue) is: 2007-BT7

what do you guys thing? Good deal or stay away?

Run, go get them, that's a steal!
And if both have a battery, optical drive and AC adapter, the rest is a bonus
Even for just the working one, the price is well under the going rates.

Just upgrade the RAM. Max it out in both ThinkPads and you're ready to rock. Adding RAM is so easy and it may be the single biggest determinant of performance.

You might also try upgrading the OS to Windows7. I did it on my T60P (previously running Windows Vista) and it's superb.
