I have a spare BLUETOOTH Part Number 91P7315 that comes from a T41p. I was wondering if I can use it or add it on my T60 ? I am not sure if my T60 has one, is there a way a checking ? Two questions for the price of one. Thanks to all.

If your T60 has it, you will see a bluetooth icon on the ftont of the screen, next to the wireless icon. T43 and T60 parts are different size and shape. There is no way to use a T43 part in the T60. Most of the time, if you don't have bluetooth installed at the time of T60 manufacture, you won't have the right LCD cable to add one later. You will need the cable, the adapter and a clearplate.

I have no bluetooth icon on my screen housing thus I do not have it and can not add it as per what you said makes sense. Thanks richk.

I will add that I have seen machines with SXGA+ screens that had no icon, no bluetoth clearplate, but did have the cable that supports adding an adapter.

and WSXGA+. ;)

Actually, I think all CTO versions have all antennae as well as the LCD ribbon with CDC slot (for BT). It's just the clear plate you "need" aside from the component itself (If you want others to know it's installed). It's hit and miss if you have the ribbon with slot otherwise, but you can remove the front screen bezel to see. If you don't have it, you can buy the slot which can be soldered on (not recommended), or just buy a cable with it off eBay.
