After Windows 7 install, Screen never shuts off

I recently installed Windows 7 on my T61p (6459CTO).

I've noticed that even with the power settings at "screen off", there seems to be a glow coming from the screen.
Very noticable at night.
And not something I ever had under Windows XP.

There is no image on the screen, just an underlying glow.

Any thoughts?

I posted this question some time ago ...

I have since installed all of the updated Lenovo apps and I am still having this issue.

Any thoughts?
Anyone?
