Will an Wuxga screen fit in an T61 with wxga screen?

Will an 15.4" WUXGA screen fit on to an 15,4 inch WXGA resolutie (1680 x 1050) system? Or do i need another cable and or motherboard for it to fit?

It should work just fine. You don't need a different cable.

I always dreamed of doing this. However, are the selections out there any brighter than my LG?

You have an valid point. The CCFL screens are just not bright enough. My deepest wish is an nice LED screen in my T61. That would be seriously all I need. An bullet proof T61 with an nice led screen.
