Future owner of two T6x machines! Yeah!

Hi everybody!
I've bought a stripped T61 and a stripped T60 from a respected member in this forum!

During the time they will need to arrive to good 'ol Switzerland I was buying some of the missing parts. The HMM is a big help here but I need some advice regarding the wireless card, there are several models listed there but I'm sure there's lot of experience in this forum regarding which one is better.

The machines should be a 7661-BF3 (Widescreen T61) and a 1952 (SXGA+ T60).

Any other things I should consider for these models? It's my very first time with the T6x series and I'm really looking forward to having them

The best WiFi card for T60/61 is not Intel, it is Atheros chipset based. So in the parts manual the description will be "ThinkPad 11abg Wireless LAN Mini PCI Express Adapter" or "ThinkPad 11abgn Wireless LAN Mini-PCI Express Adapter".

Thanks Harry for the fast reply! A quick check in Ebay revealed the Atheros having a big difference in price as well...

I'll check in detail tomorrow... time to sleep now!

Ok, my paypal account has been busy the last days... So far I'm waiting for:

- Two Keyboards
- 1x Modem
- 2 Atheros Wireless cards (AR5BXB6 & AR5BXB72). I still don't know if I will use the latter in my X60 or in one of the T6*s
- Upper keyboard bezel for the T61
- 1x cheap knock-off SATA caddy adapter
- 1x set of screws for the T61

Can the screw set be used also for my T60 or do I need to buy a separate one?
