OK, so you want to upgrade a Thinkpad with a QXGA LCD. Which model Thinkpad?

Harry, Thanks for the help.

I have 4 laptops.. I am going to retire my 2668-H8U T43P

I would like to start with me T61 8897-CTO unit.. I am having LCD issues right now.

My second plan is to upgrade my other 2 T60 > a 2007-5TU and 2007-5CU

Your thoughts.

The 8897-CTO is a 14" unit. No QXGA is possible there.

It would be possible in the FrankenPad 15 inch T60 platform correct?

Yes it is possible. You may end up having to write EDID to the new LCD. Send a PM to a member named Troels for more information. He's the Guru in the LCD upgrade world. You may be looking at purchasing more parts. Take a look at the Wiki and post back with questions.
