Laptop won't boot, help please. 4 beeps blank screen.

Was hoping someone here might be able to help. Left my laptop on overnight on the dock and when I went back to it I had a BSOD(driver IRQL_NOT_EQUAL....). I did a hard reboot and all I got was a blank screen and 4 beeps that did not repeat. I couldn't find anything online that told me what this error code meant and was wondering if anyone could offer any help.

If you have 2 memory chips, try them one at a time. If you have one, try a replacement

Thanks! That did the trick. Apparently one of the two ram slots burned out. I had a 2gig and 1 gig module. Both work fine in the top slot. It is the bottom slot that is not working.
