What would be the best 4gb memory for a T61?

The cheapest G.Skill sodimms are more than good enough.
Just remember, if you use a 32-bit OS, like the regular Windows XP-Pro, Vista-32 or W7-32, Windows will only recognize ca. 3GB.
To get the full 4GB, you need to install XP-Pro-64, Vista-64 or W7-64 (or 64-bit Linux if available).
