Ultrabay options on T60p.

So what options are there for the T60p ultrabay? I don't know anything about this little wonder and I have a DVD drive in there that barely gets any use apart from installing a new piece of software if needed. I don't play any CD's in it once it's been transferred onto the harddrive, nor do I use it to play DVD's.
Apart from adding an extra drive(iDE only, or is it SATA?) ,a battery (how many hours is this?), what other options are there?

Well, you mentioned battery, and yes an SATA hard drive is possible with a 2nd SATA HDD Adapter. There is also a CDRW/DVD combo drive, a DVD Multiburner (DVD and CD burner), and a Serial / Parallel Port Adapter. The term to search for is 'ultrabay slim' if you are looking for these devices. Wow! Thanks for the reply and that list is quite something. I'm a little confused. Can the T60p support all the ultrabay types barring the "Serial Ultrabay Slim" and the Serial "Ultrabay Enhanced"? Or is it ONLY the Ultrabay Slim?
I'm looking at getting the extra numerical pad but not to sure it that would fit.

It's only ultrabay slim. An external numeric pad would be USB connected, not an Ultrabay device.

Where did you read that the Ultrabay offers SATA HDD capability? I'm looking at the newmodeus website and it says it's only PATA compatible. Btw, anyone have experience with their products? I see similar ones on ebay for cheaper too but I assume they all work mostly the same. I'm just afraid of excessive noise.

Also, I read the battery only adds about an hr of life and the battery itself is prone to dying but that may be a inaccurate information from one source.
