will not go into sleep mode

I am running XP on my T-60 and sometimes it will go into sleep mode based on the power options timers and most of the time it will not do so. It does go into standby when closing the lid. I have ThinkVantage Power Manager running. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Bruce

I installed a newer version of Power Manger and it now takes a nap when it supposed to. I thought I had the latest version but obviously did not.
Hope you are enjoying your spring, it is quite wet in Oregon.
Thanks,
Bruce

...Notice you use Linux in your T-60. Do you know anything about a problem with Linux Mint 9 and Simply Mepis not coming out of sleep
mode? I do not use sleep with either distro, as I end up doing a power down afterwards. If I just leave the T-60 unused, it will go into sleep on its own and I can wake it up easily but if I click the sleep command, Linux seems unable to wake back up.
