has anyone figured out an easy step by step way to put a giant classic 1967 System 360 13-stripe logo on the T60 startup screen? - I know this is very doable, I once saw a T60 that had it done.
pic below is the style I am referring to, I know we are limited to like 16 or 256 colors or something like that so maybe white letters or else grey on the black background.

I remember I looked into this right after I bought my T60, as I wanted a splash screen similar to the one I have on the T43. I found the ThinkWiki entry, and also an old forum thread about it. I think it was this one:

Unfortunately some of the image links there don't work anymore, and I didn't have the image I wanted, so I didn't put more work into it. I believe you can probably extract it out of a BIOS file from an older Thinkpad, like one of the guys there suggest, but that will be project for a day I have too much time. Of course, if someone has some of these images, I would be happy to have it. And probably Wild Bill too.

I think this must be the splash screen we are looking for:

(Sorry, couldn't resist..)
