Hi

Almost two months ago I bought on ebay this item

http://cgi.ebay.pl/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... 2761.l1259

The guy confirmed that it will fit to T60p as it is 42T0079. Today I received the package and the number of the part is 41W1124 (so completly different from this what was described on ebay). From my research it seems taht it is for R60, so my question is if it will fit to T60p? Is it any risk installing it instead of 42T0079?

Regards

Bart

I would be afraid to use it, for fear of shorting something. The R60 uses the same cable and inverer for XGA and SXGA+. T60 uses different of both.

As far as I can tell through a google search, 41W1124 is a 14.1" XGA LCD Inverter made by Foxconn for a Thinkpad R60/E. That will not drive the SXGA+ LCD in your T60P. I'd return it.
