T60 Screen replacement

I have a T60 (1951-43U) that has a cracked 14.1" VGA screen. I have a number of T4x 14.1" VGA screens. Can I replace the T60 screen with one of the T4x screens? Also, does anyone have a Hard Drive cover for the T60 they can part with?

You cannot use a T4x screen in as T60. The EEID (configuration eeprom) is missing. You may damage the motherboard

Some can be made compatible with the T60, by reflashing the EDID. Some screens don't contain an EEPROM to store it, so it makes it somewhat harder (i.e. not worth it) to make it work.
What are the T4x screen model numbers you have? (i.e. as indicated here:
http://www.lcdparts.net/Images/Instruct ... _Label.JPG ). All screens have some kind of manufacturer identification.
