Different kinds of WWAN antennas / cards

Just some quick questions, as there are people here who seems to have knowledge about the WWAN.
When I opened up my T60 the last time, I installed the WWAN antenna that goes in the lid. I also have the SIM card module, but I need to buy and install the 2nd antenna for the keyboard bezel. However, the Lenovo site specifies two different antennas, one regular type, and one type for "Vodafone models". What is the difference? Is this a GSM vs. CDMA thing, or is it a difference between different 3G frequencies? ? Unfortunately I don't know which type my lid antenna is, as I bought this on eBay before I became aware that there are two types of them. Will this one not work at all when used on the "wrong" type of network?
I also need to look into which card I want to buy, as I intend to use the T60 with WWAN in Norway. They use the 3G 2100 band there, which is different from the 3G band here in the US. And I believe the WWAN card needs to be matched to the frequency? (And also the antennas..?)
Thanks!
