Suspend

My T60's and my T61 are configured to suspend ("sleep") when I close the covers. The T60's (running XP Pro) only awaken when I open the cover (good idea!). However, the T61 (running Windows 7 64bit Ultimate) is a light sleeper. For instance, if I move the the USB mouse it awakens. Why is that and is there something I can do to alleviate the T61's propensity to awaken prematurely?

For instance you can go to the device manager, find the mouse, find the "power management" tab and uncheck the box saying "allow this device to wake up the computer".
